Hi There

I have ActiveSMS 5.0 basic installed. I also have a Nokia 6310i connected via a data cable. Everything seems to have installed OK, however, when I run the test in the set-up wizard, I get the following...

22/04/08 13:15:45 - PE: Error - Invalid AT response ()

I've tried this with several different baud rates, always with the same response.

I've tried using TerraTerm to connect to the device, this just responds with a blank terminal window, in which I cannot type anything.

In the Windows Event Log (Application,) the following is repeated multiple times...

Comms Exception raised
Function: IdentifyDevice
Description: Invalid AT+CMGI response ()
HResult: -2147467259

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...

Many thanks

Stephen

Hi Stephen,

Are you using a genuine Nokia DLR-3P RS-232 Cable?

Please note most non0Nokia cables will not work with ActiveSMS
