After looking on this forum I have seen from a previous posting that there isn't any outlook add on software for sending sms messages, and therefore to be able to send messages (as the manual states) I should do the following:

4.4.1 Routing Options
Click the ‘Advanced Options…’ button on the Email Page and then select the ‘Routing’ tab.
Outgoing (Email to SMS) message routing options:

I am currently using outlook 2003 and cannot find this option – I have gone both into tools and option in the mail page and also into options when an actual email window is open and still unable to find the option you describe.

Can anyone please advice how this can be done. Can intelli software also indicate when they may intend to write a software plug in for outlook?

Kind regards, John Farrington

The manual is referring to settings in the ActiveSMS Console (not in Microsoft Outlook).

There are two possibilities for enabling ActiveSMS for email, POP3 Polling or SMTP server.
