Hello

I have a question, regarding a Exchange 2003 SBS setup. I have a coustumer that have a Exchange 2003 SBS server that we would have running Active SMS one the same server, using SMTP routing.

On Exchange 2003 I can not forword Smarthost to other port number fx. 2525 to ActiveSMS (witch I can on a exchange 2007)? The other soulution that I tried is to add extra IP-adress to the server, and bind exchange server SMTP server to 192.168.100.2 then i would bind Activesms to 192.168.100.3:25 but how doo i do that?

Or are they a another smarter solution on a 1-server solution?

Kind Regards

I think the only solution is to use a seperate IP address for ActiveSMS.

To configure SMTP Binding IP address:

1) Download the following file:
http://www.intellisoftwa...WSetListeningAddress.zip

2) Extract the ActiveSMS_EmailGWSetListeningAddress.reg

3) Right-click the extracted ActiveSMS_EmailGWSetListeningAddress.reg file and set the binding address to the require value.
e.g. "EmailGWOutgoingSMTPListeningAddress"="192.168.100.3"

4) Select File->Save

5) Double click the ActiveSMS_EmailGWSetListeningAddress.reg file. Click 'Yes' to accept changes.

6) Reboot the server
